Facilitation – group development
Objective:
Work with a collection of individual businesses and organisations, each with specific skills and strengths, to create a collaborative group to bid for and deliver a multi-faceted project.
Assignment:
On behalf of South West Food and Drink work with nine businesses and organisations, the Public Sector Food Procurement Initiative (PSFPI) Delivery Partners, to facilitate the creation of a collaborative group and selection of an organisation to bid collectively to deliver a range of events to promote PSFPI.
Actions:
- A collaborative Project Delivery group inclusive of all individual delivery partners was developed and a lead organisation selected.
- The group was successful in its bid for the project valued at £30,000.
- A range of very successful events were held for the Supply and Demand sides in several South West counties with up to 3 member organisations of the group participating in each.

Presentation of Case Studies from the South West region
Opportunities to supply food to the Public Sector.
Outcome:
An established, highly respected collaborative group of organisations and businesses primed to deliver further Public Sector Food Procurement work in the South West region.
